Donor Network West celebrates

American Heart Month

Donor Network West observes American Heart Month every February in conjunction with Black History Month, highlighting the importance of heart health and organ donation. This American Heart month we encourage you to take proactive steps to prevent cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the United States, through heart-healthy diets, regular exercise and managing risk factors like high blood pressure and cholesterol. By promoting awareness and encouraging people to register as organ donors, American Heart Month fosters a community effort to improve heart health and save lives.
