Holiday Card Contest

Donor Network West is proud to present the 2024 Student Holiday Card Art Contest to help raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation. Students across northern California and northern Nevada are invited to share their creative gifts by designing an original holiday card depicting this year’s theme:

Building a Foundation of Hope

The miracle of organ, eye and tissue donation has been a foundation of hope for transplant recipients, their families and donor families since the first successful transplant in 1954. Hope can look and feel like many things for those touched by the Gift of Life. We invite you to explore the possibilities of what this prompt means to you!

Important Dates

Art must be submitted online (or postmarked if you are submitting by mail) by November 15, 2024 (11:59 p.m. PST)

Age Group Winners will be announced on November 25, 2024

Social Media Winner will be announced December 2, 2024

(Social Media Voting will open on November 25, 2024)

Winning Categories & Prizes

1. Overall Winner: The winner’s art will be selected as Donor Network West’s official 2024 holiday card. The winner will receive $250.00 and 50 cards with envelopes of their winning design. The first name and last initial will be printed on the back of the card to attribute this artist’s work.

2. Age Group Winners: Three winners will be selected, one from each of the following age groups, each receiving a prize of $200.00.

• Age 13 and under
• Age 14 to 18
• Age 19 and above

3. Social Media Favorite: One additional winner will be selected based on social media engagement. The entry with the most likes across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter) will receive a $100.00 prize.
