About Our Donor Family Ceremonies
Donor Network West cordially invites you and your family to a special ceremony to honor and remember all of those who gave the Gift of Life. The Donor Family Ceremonies bring together donor families from across our donation service area who have lost a loved one that has given the Gift of Life through organ, eye and tissue donation. It is our privilege to host this special gathering to honor and acknowledge your loved one.

Dates, Locations & RSVP Deadline
Donor Network West hosts three Donor Family Ceremonies across our donation service area. Please RSVP for the location nearest you.
- (Fresno, CA) - Saturday, April 5th | The Painted Table
- (Pleasanton, CA) - Saturday, April 26th | Alameda County Fairgrounds
- (Reno, NV) - Saturday, May 17th | Renaissance Hotel
Each family is welcome to bring up to 5 guests total. If you need additional accommodations or requests, please email [email protected].

Attire & What to Bring
Attire: Please wear what you feel comfortable in. We invite you to wear any items that remind you of/honor your loved one.
Items to Bring: You are welcome to bring photographs, buttons, pins, stickers, bracelets, or any items that remind you of your loved one. Many donor families trade these items with other families to help build connections and community.

Photo Submission Guidelines
We ask each family to submit a photo to use during a portion of the program in which we honor the loved ones of all donor families in attendance. This photo is also used for a keepsake memory book, which you will receive upon arrival to the ceremony. Please submit your photo by February 28, 2025, to ensure your loved one is included.
It is best to submit a clear picture that features your loved one’s face prominently. You can send a favorite picture (it does not need to be the most current).
- Photographs that are at least 4×6 will work best.
- Your photograph should be in a high-resolution format (at least 300 dpi)
- The image should be of your loved one only. No additional family members, please.
- Do not send a photo of a printed image. Digital or scanned files only.
