Waldo Concepcion, M.D., FACS

Waldo Concepcion, M.D. began his role as Donor Network West’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in May of 2020. Concepcion was the former Chief of Clinical Transplantation and Pediatric Kidney Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine and Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics (Nephrology). He also served as Director of the Institute of Transplantation at Loma Linda University.

Waldo’s hobbies include traveling, spending time with family and friends, classical music, opera, and fine cuisine. However, spending time with his daughter, Zoe Grace, gives him the most enjoyment.
