Donor Network West Statement On Racially Motivated Attacks Against Asian American And Pacific Islanders
Violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders has been on the rise since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to escalate. In the San Francisco Bay Area in particular, there has been a surge in anti-Asian violence over the past couple of weeks. Donor Network West condemns these racially motivated, senseless and gruesome acts against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
Donor Network West is committed to supporting all the racial, ethnic and underrepresented communities that we serve and continuing to work to educate all our employees on how to have culturally appropriate conversations and interactions with our donor families, recipients, partners, and team members through our diversity, equity and inclusion program.
We stand with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community and urge everyone to continue to reject hate, racism and discrimination.
